Making your own way to Dragon Hill Lodge? Here’s where to get off if you’re using local subway, bus, or taxi services. Dragon Hill Lodge is located on USAG Yongsan near Gate 1. Upon arrival, you’ll need gate access.
Taxi
Click here for an official guide to all the types of local taxis you can take in Seoul. Note that only an AAFES taxi is allowed to enter the base. All other types can bring you up to the gate and you will need to make your own way to Dragon Hill Lodge from there.
For regular taxis:
Gate 1: Use this handy guide to tell the taxi driver to take you to Gate #1.
Gate 13: Use this guide to tell the taxi driver to take you to Gate #13. After obtaining gate access, you can arrange for a pickup from an AAFES taxi by phoning or texting 1544-9080 to get you to the hotel. You can also hop on a Post Run Shuttle nearby (check here for the schedule). On foot, the hotel is approximately 15 minutes’ walk.
Subway

Gate 1: From Samgakji Station (Line 4,6) Exit 13, walk along the main road for 5-10 minutes. Look for a green overpass on the road ahead – Gate 1 will be on the right directly beyond this overpass.
Gate 13: From Ichon Station (Line 4, Gyeonggui-Jungang Line), Exits 1 or 2, take a U-turn upon exiting, and walk for 1 minute to reach the pedestrian access gate (look for the police officer standing by a sun umbrella). Dragon Hill Lodge is a minimum 15-minute walk from this entrance. For a pick-up, you can call an AAFES taxi by phoning or texting 1544-9080 to get you to the hotel.
Bus
Gate 1: Take the green shuttle bus Yongsan #03 to the War Memorial of Korea (전쟁기념관) stop. From there, walk up the hill in the direction of the green overpass bridge. The entrance to Gate #1 is just beyond the overpass to the right.
