Feel the old Korea….

After passing a presidential Blue House guests will be led to Gyeongbok Palace which is built in 1394 as the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty.  It is the most comprehensive and grandest of the five palaces for the Joseon Dynasty.  Next stop is National Folk Museum which portrays many activities of the Korean life style.  Next stop is Jogye temple.  It is the largest and most influential denomination in Korean Buddhism today.

After a trip to the top of Seoul Tower (offering a panoramic vie of the sprawling Seoul), guests will be led to Dondaemun traditional market (the nation’s wholesale center).  The next stop will be Changdeok Palace which is the most beautiful palace of Joseon Dynasty.

The Korean Folk Village is the home of true Korean heritage where many features of the Korean culture have been collected and preserved for future generations to see and learn.  Visitors can experience the authentic atmosphere with over 250 traditional houses reminiscent of the late Joseon Dynasty.

Changdeok Palace is a beautiful palace of the Jeseon Dynasty with a secret garden which was designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage in 1996.  After the Changdeok Palace, guest will be led to Insadong Art Galleries than to Namdaemun Market which is a crowded street lined with tiny shops which sell virtually every product imaginable.

Trip 11 - Aquarium and Han River Cruise

COEX Aquarium shows more than 30,000 fish of 500 species and dozens of sharks.  Guests will go on a Han River Cruise which the Han River runs through the heart of the Korean peninsula.  On its way through Seoul, bisecting the capital, it passes many scenic attractions along its banks.
